Jenrick supports ‘Wear It Pink’ 2009

Jenrick Supports 'Wear It Pink' 2009For the third year running Jenrick has supported ‘Wear it Pink’ in aid of Breast Cancer Research UK.

Staff arrived into work early, dressed in Pink to support this worthy cause.

The day started with a charity breakfast, which raised £60 inclusive of personal donations from all team members, even those who were unable to make it to the breakfast. (more…)

I’ve completed the final Flora London Marathon

Well, it’s over. The big day has come and gone and I’ve finally had the lucy-porter-presents-medal-to-kevin-matthewsopportunity to complete the London Marathon again after a 12 year gap.

This time around was much more painful than I remember from before, although rose-tinted glasses maybe playing a part in my selective memory.

Yet, importantly, I have fulfilled my goal and achieved my Jenrick Experience!

I have to admit that crossing that finish line was an extremely emotional experience. You don’t realise how much mental energy it takes to complete the marathon until you’ve reached the end, especially as this time around it was not plain sailing by any stretch of the imagination!

Kevin Matthews London Marathon update

Training
This has gone well so far.

I completed the Great South Run (10 mile road race) in Portsmouth at the very end of October. I finished in a time of just over 1hr 30 minutes, which was where I wanted to be at that stage of my training. (more…)

3 Star Best Companies Awards 2009

In the 2009 Best Companies Awards Jenrick competed against 795 jenrick-3-star-with-julie-alton-webother companies, of all sizes and spanning an array of industry sectors, to achieve this award, with just 55 achieving the top accolade of 3 Stars.

As we have briefly mentioned, what is quite unique about the accreditation is that the ratings have been compiled in a way which enables all companies, regardless of size, to compete on a level plain-field. Therefore, the final scores truly reflect which companies are the very best to work for. (more…)

‘Catlin Insurance Group’ confirmed as Arctic Survey Title Sponsor

Jenrick CPI & Jenrick Engineering are both delighted to announce that the Arctic Survey has secured a main/title sponsor namely, Catlin Group Limited - the project is now titled the Catlin Arctic Survey.

Jenrick CPI & Jenrick Engineering are committed sponsors and have been working with The Arctic Survey team since early summer when the team set themselves a deadline of August to reach the required level of funding for the survey to go ahead.

With Catlin Group joining us on the sponsor list, as title sponsor, this means one of the most important scientific studies of our generation is officially ready for launch – The Catlin Arctic Survey will take place from February 2009. (more…)
